Lon Peckham, DMD
Dr. Peckham is a dental consultant and practicing dentist who’s main professional interest is in solving complex dental problems, including TMD issues. In addition to being the director of the Inland TMD Board, he is also the founder and director of the Northwest School of Dental Arts and The Dental Research Group, as well as the philanthropic Smile Miracles Network. His professional affiliations include being an active member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Equilibration Society, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry.
When not in the office, you will usually find Dr. Peckham training one of his young horses, snow skiing, or cruising on his Indian motorcycle.
Melanie Lang, DDS, MD
Dr. Lang is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has the special distinction of being both a dentist and a physician. Included in her advanced training was a rotation at the world famous Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center in Gainesville, Florida, and her subspecialty training is in Maxillofacial Cosmetic Surgery. This unique background makes her an especially valuable member of our team.
Dr. Lang enjoys outdoor activities including biking, running, hiking and horseback riding. She is also an avid Nebraska Husker and Florida Gator fan. For relaxation and hobbies, Melanie enjoys animals, collecting antiques, stamps and coins, as well as traveling and spending time with her family, friends and Sid.
Steve Heinrich, PT
Being the son of a dentist, Mr. Heinrich has a natural interest in physical therapy for the treatment of head and neck pain and dysfunction. He has authored numerous articles on physical therapy, TMD and pain management. And he lectures nationally to physical therapists, nurses, chiropractors and dentists on the nature of pain, pain management and soft tissue dysfunction.
Mr. Heinrich is an avid fly fisherman who will gladly share anything he knows, except where he caught that big one!
