AIRO Dental Health Care was founded by Dr. Lon Peckham who conciders it a special privilege to treat patients from all across the Inland Northwest, not only locally in Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, but western Montana, western Washington, and all across north Idaho as well.  Dr. Peckham attended dental school in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University – School of Dentistry in 1985.  Since then he has continued to enhance his education with experts from around the globe.  His special interest is in solving complex dental issues resulting in teeth that look beautiful, feel great, last a life time, and support your overall health as well.  He pioneered the use of operating microscopes for general dental treatment here in the Inland Empire, and founded the Inland Northwest Pankey Study Group for advanced dental education, as well as the Northwest School of Dental Arts. Dr. Peckham is one of a small distinguished percentage who has invested in postgraduate training at one of the world’s premiere dental continuing education schools, The Pankey Institute  in Key Biscayne, Florida where he also serves as a mentor to other dentists.  Dentists trained there concentrate on developing the special skills required to solve the most complex of dental problems. 

In addition to his dental practice, Dr Peckham serves as a consultant and, together with his wife Barbara, has also established The Peckham Foundation, a charitable organization whose  Syringa Fund provides dental care for the economically disadvantaged.  The Peckham Foundation also works with other organizations such as Healing Partners Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy and Life Skills NW teaching success principles to the youth of North Idaho.  In addition to being an alumnus of the Pankey Institute, Dr. Peckham is also certified in Choice Theory and Lead Management by the William Glasser Institute as well as being an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
